This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative or current Business Development Manager wanting to extend their remit to cover the European Market. Our Industrial Colours Business – a division of Albion Colours is already a major player in the sector and is looking to increase its market share and presence through this key appointment.
Coming from a Colours background within the Coating or Plastics industry, you will draw on your previous experience to accelerate our sales growth, delivering tangible increases in volume and margin. Traveling extensively throughout Europe, you will work remotely to develop this key area of our business, developing effective working relationships with our distributors overseas as well as our direct customers.
Specifically, this role will involve:
- Provide technical sales experience to our customers, including colour applications
- Develop and implement sales budgets and marketing plans for specified customers
- The attainment of agreed sales, tonnage and margin budgets
- To provide marketing and technical support to effectively launch, promote and sell products.
- Constantly reviewing and assess the portfolio of products, customers and relevant suppliers.
The following essential criteria will be required:
- Previous experience and understanding of working within the Colours industry and/or a Technical Sales role
- The ability to provide technical and commercial support to our external and internal customers
- A strong communicator with good negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with good planning/prioritisation skills
- Flexible, driven and self-motivated
- Ability to fulfill the travel requirements that form part of this role
