Business Support Manager
Based at Newcastle, DH3 1QZ
Based at our Birtley depot and reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll enjoy a genuine operational role, offering increasing involvement and input across all the site’s commercial activities
Specifically, this will involve:
• Managing , monitoring and maintaining our in-house quality management system
• Assisting in the improvement of investigation, analysis and reporting activities
• Customer communication/support and an element of supplier liaison/development
• A focus on continuous improvement and helping develop the existing strategy
• Administration duties with some support from the Technical Administrator
As the Business Support Manager, you will ideally be of graduate calibre and have:
• A quality background, as well as technical experience and/or qualifications
• Strong customer facing, communication and relationship building skills
• The ability to plan, prioritise and action a busy and increasing workload
• A proven track record in a similar type of commercial/QA role, gained in a related chemical, process or other stringently regulated environment

External Account Manager - Bulk Solvent Sales - SOUTH
Base location will be Liverpool, L24 8RL, but will be covering the Southern Territory
This is a key field-based sales role, reporting into our Solvents Business Liverpool where you’ll target new and existing markets across the Midlands, South East and South West region of England in a fast moving, competitive environment. With a brief to develop profitable volume sales across a wide range of industrial and commercial clients, you’ll ensure we maximise the very real potential of an already impressive customer base.
Specifically this will involve:
- Achieving an increase in volume, sales and margin, contributing to the delivery of challenging weekly and monthly targets
- Focusing on a specific portfolio of accounts, and developing strong and sustainable working relationships
- Identifying potential new business through existing customers and by monitoring competitor business
- Regular reporting on results and agreeing action where required
- Lending your business acumen and knowledge of our customers in order to develop company products and maximise sales
As an External Account Manager –Solvents, you will:
- Be an experienced sales professional and proven relationship builder who can demonstrate the ability to manage and successfully develop key accounts in a technically oriented and service driven field
- Effectively set and achieve targets in a fast moving, competitive environment
- Display excellent communication skills and be able to confidently present to all levels of staff
- Have the ability to quickly grasp our products and services, although any experience or knowledge of the chemical industry would be a distinct advantage

Temporary Accounts Assistant
Based at Head Office, Leeds LS19 7XX
Reporting to our Office Manager, you role will involve:
- Logging and checking of daily invoices
- Batching, inputting and preparing payment runs
- Reviewing and accurately updating sales ledger records
- Allocating sales payments
- Weekly/Monthly reconciliation’s
- General administration and providing support to the team when necessary
Ideally we are looking for:
- An experienced Accounts Assistant, ideally with relevant qualifications
- A keen eye for detail, including data input/order processing skills
- Excellent communication skills and a polite, professional and persuasive telephone manner
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment and deal with high volumes of transactions
- Full, Valid UK Driving Licence for minimum 12 months

Business Development Coordinator
Based at Swansea, SA5 4HL
Specifically, this will involve:
- Working closely with the External Account Manager to assist on new business opportunities, which will include actively developing new customer leads via telephone, handling incoming enquiries, producing quotes and coordinating any follow up action
- Acting as principal contact for customers via telephone, email and internet
- Processing of sales orders from order through to order capture using our in-house system
- Co-ordinating the sales process, with a specific focus on key campaigns and new product initiatives
- Developing strong relationships with Product Managers to ensure we’re able to provide quotes on a fast turnaround basis.
- Carrying out monthly analysis on performance and reporting to senior management on progress made against specific campaigns
- Undertake general administrative tasks, such as paper management, maintaining up to date records and filing.
To succeed, you should be able to demonstrate:
A highly customer oriented approach.
- Relevant experience in a similar performance led, sales driven, customer focused environment
- A proven track record in supporting business development activities and maximising sales through pro-active telesales
- Excellent communication and relationship building activities, plus the ability to plan and prioritise new campaigns and initiatives
- Sound administrative and accurate PC/data entry skills, including the ability to produce analytical reports
