Through our internal training campaigns, we promote the benefits of reducing our carbon footprint - as a company and as individuals.

 

Raising the awareness of our environmental impact is the first stage, and we implement this through a variety of initiatives such as:

 

• We train and reward our drivers though our S.A.F.E.D campaign - Safe and Fuel Efficient Driving, which evaluates the biggest improvements in Miles per Gallon (MPG) each year. The smallest reduction of just 1 MPG can result in major cost savings and an overall reduction in CO_² levels in the environment

 

• We encourage our employees to cycle to work by launching annual 'bike schemes'

 

• We encourage our employees to car-share in their commute to and from the workplace - to reduce the number of cars on the road and ultimately a reduction in carbon emissions

 

All of these considered, we know that 'being green' is not just about reducing what we do or stopping things all together. We encourage all staff to only use what is needed, get it 'right first time', and dispose of waste responsibly such as through our on site paper recycling/shredding facilities.
